Calvin Presbyterian Church

This is a large church which hosts many community activities throughout the week. Toronto Dance conducts dance classes in Latin-Ballroom and Salsa-Nightclub at this location.

Note: There is free parking in the neighbourhood after 6pm.

Building Location and Directions

Calvin Presbyterian Church is located at 26 Delisle Ave. (Yonge & St.Clair).

Here is a picture of Calvin Presbyterian Church at the main entrance.

Use the side entrance (to the right of the main entrance). The dance hall is on the second floor. See the photos below.

Directions via TTC

Go on the Yonge line to the St.Clair (east) subway station. Exit the subway toward the north end of the platform. When you exit the subway station, you will be on the east side of Yonge St. Delisle Ave. should be directly across the street on the west side.

If you exit on the south end of the platform, you will be at the south side of St.Clair Ave. Walk to Yonge St. and go north/right one street to Delisle Ave.

Directions via Driving

Drive along Yonge St until you are just north of St.Clair Ave. See the street map above and parking directions to find free parking.

Dance Hall

Go through the main entrance of the church. Continue to the right to enter via the side entrance (see photo below). Go to the second floor.

Here is a picture of the dance hall. It is called the Upper Hall.

Parking

There is free parking in a nearby residential neighbourhood. Go along Yonge St to Heath St or Lawton Blvd (to Oriole Gdns or Lonsdale Rd). Please refer to the street map above. Check the street signs to see where you can park for free after 6pm.

After you park, there is a special walkway (west of Yonge St) that will bring you right to the church. Below is a photo of the walkway between Delisle Ave and Heath St.

There is also public pay-and-display meter parking ($1.50/30 mins) next to the church. See photo below.
