Alana Hock: Lindy Hop and Tap Instructor
Alana Hock - instructor
Alana has been teaching Lindy Hop for over 5 years, 3 of which have been with
her current partner, Arthur Lulu. She has had the honour of assisting the
89 year-old granddaddy of swing, Frankie Manning. She has also been teamed with
Sweden's Lennart Westerlund, American phenoms Damon Stone, Peter Strom and
Marty Klempner. She has also at Toronto Swing Dance Society and University
of Toronto as well as in several cities throughout Canada and USA.

Alana is the instructor for the Monday Tap 1/2 classes and
Wednesday Lindy Hop 1/2 classes at
Mad For Dance Studio.

Alana has studied Tap with Acia Gray, Heather Cornell, Barbara Duffy,
Ted Levy, Brenda Buffalino, Skip Cunningham and the 70-year-spry
tap master, Chazz Young. Alana has taught Tap in Toronto, Ottawa, all
the way to Japan. Alana is the one to help you shuffle, improv and tap
your way to happiness. Conventional's never been her style. Her warmth,
her support and hundred-kilowatt smile set her apart.
